That’s what The History Well does, only rather than you and your classes going to the 18^th and 19^th Centuries, they come to you.

Bring the American Revolution or the Civil War to your Students without a Time Machine

Roy Wells, former US Air Force officer and Military Historian, comes to your school, bringing uniforms, camp furnishings, accouterments, medical equipment, desks, weapons and more to provide a presentation to your history classes.

Presentations are 45 minutes to 2 hours and are done for each class period. The presentations are fact- and fun-filled, from the story of why Yankee Doodle stuck a feather in his hat and called it Macaroni to why women in the South saved their urine in the Civil War to help make gunpowder.
